Accel: Dynamic & Gap Metronome
Tempo Ramp & Gap Trainer
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Build speed and stronger timing with a metronome that ramps for you and tests your inner clock.
Build speed, steadier timing, and confident playing with a metronome that adapts to your practice plan. Accel gradually raises the pace for you, then tests your inner clock by dropping out for whole bars.
• Create a tempo plan with a starting speed, step size, target, and hold time
• Practise through rising and falling speed changes without touching the controls
• Use fixed, random, or ladder gaps to strengthen your internal pulse
• Follow clear progress for upcoming tempo changes, bars, and silent sections
• Keep playing with precise audio, background playback, and screen-off support
Set your starting BPM, choose how much to increase at each step, and decide how long each tempo should last. Accel changes speed on the bar line, keeping every transition musical and predictable. When you reach your target, run the plan back down to the starting speed.
The gap trainer silences complete bars while the beat continues underneath. Choose a repeating pattern, random gaps, or a ladder that gradually increases the challenge. A preview of upcoming bars helps you prepare without breaking concentration.
Use the metronome for scales, exercises, difficult passages, groove work, auditions, rehearsals, or daily practice. Choose from common time signatures, subdivisions, accent patterns, and click sounds to match your instrument and style.
Accel is made for guitarists, drummers, pianists, vocalists, string players, and any musician who wants a structured way to play faster while staying in time. Your settings are remembered between sessions, and the clean interface keeps practice focused.
Download Accel and turn every practice session into a clear, progressive timing workout.
