Ommesh
MeshCore radio companion
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Ommesh is a companion for MeshCore LoRa radios. Connect a compatible radio over Bluetooth LE or Wi-Fi/TCP to exchange messages, explore nearby nodes and manage your radio from your phone.
A compatible radio running MeshCore companion firmware is required for real mesh communication. No radio yet? Choose Demo on the connection screen to explore with simulated contacts and messages.
MESSAGES
• Direct conversations, channels and rooms.
• Delivery feedback, retries and message route details.
• Local conversation history stored separately for each radio.
EXPLORE THE MESH
• See nodes that share their position on a map.
• Inspect routes, signal quality and node telemetry.
• Ping repeaters and explore terrain profiles along radio paths.
• Reuse previously viewed map and elevation tiles from the local cache.
MANAGE YOUR RADIO
• Change radio settings and contact preferences.
• Administer compatible repeaters, rooms and sensors when you have their credentials.
• Inspect radio traffic and diagnostic logs.
MADE FOR YOUR PHONE
• Light and dark themes with adjustable text size.
• Optional local notifications for messages and discovered nodes.
• No Ommesh account, advertising or analytics.
Mesh messaging uses your connected radio; it does not need an internet connection. Loading new map or elevation areas does require internet access. Wi-Fi connections require compatible companion firmware with TCP support.
Radio range and delivery depend on your hardware, configuration and local mesh. The app interface is available in English and Russian.

Send under a region, for the radio or one channel. Where repeaters are set to regions, a message may need one to go far. Frequency and power › Region: ask the repeaters nearby which they carry, or type it. A channel can take its own.
Set up Wi-Fi and more on MeshCore 1.18. Turn the radio's Wi-Fi on and set its network, let people you choose control it, have a sensor send its readings by itself, turn the radio off. Two apps can share it.
Keep your radio's key in a file. Advanced › Radio key saves it. After a crash, a flash or a reset, give it back, and the radio is the same node again, with its chats. Keep the file like a password.
Remove several nodes at once. Hold a node in the Mesh list, or right-click it on a PC, and tap the others; All picks what the search shows. Removed nodes can be searched and forgotten too.
Check whether a repeater hears you direct. On the map, open the route to it and tap Check direct under ⋯. Traces go to it alone, with no relays between, and show how each way sounded.
Fixed:
• On an iPhone, the keyboard no longer covers a window's buttons.
• A PC using the radio through a phone reconnects by itself after the phone's app restarts.
• On a phone, the Mesh list comes back up with a swipe on its search field.
• A node that writes to you no longer looks long gone.
