Was that scratch already there? Compare pickup and return photos. Your first rental includes a free PDF report. Unlock reports for every rental with one Pro purchase.
Was that scratch already there? RentalShield helps you photograph your rental car before you drive, compare pickup and return photos side by side, and keep photos and capture details in one PDF report.
Your first rental is free, including pickup, return, comparison and its PDF report. No account. No ads. No subscription.
CAPTURE BEFORE YOU DRIVE
Choose a full 19-area inspection or an 8-step quick check. The camera stays open and moves to the next angle after each photo, so the whole walk-around takes a few minutes. Photos taken sideways are saved level with the horizon. New evidence is captured inside the app; photos cannot be imported from your library.
COMPARE AT RETURN
See your pickup photo faintly over the camera to match each angle. Compare pickup and return side by side, zoom both photos together, and step through every angle. An incomplete pickup never blocks your return.
YOUR PHOTOS IN ONE REPORT
The PDF opens with a pickup and return summary: distance driven, fuel change and damage recorded at return. Every photo shows its time with seconds and UTC offset, in the time zone where it was taken, and a SHA-256 fingerprint that matches the file in your export. Save it to Files right after an inspection.
NEVER MISS THE RETURN
Get a reminder on the return day, add the Home Screen widget, or ask Siri to start the return inspection.
YOUR EVIDENCE STAYS WITH YOU
Photos and capture details stay on your iPhone until you export them. You can include RentalShield in your own iPhone backup. Approximate location is optional. There is no developer cloud upload or advertising tracking.
RENTALSHIELD PRO — ONE PURCHASE
After your free rental you can still start and photograph any rental. The optional permanent Pro upgrade unlocks:
• PDF reports and comparisons for every rental
• Photo annotations to mark the details
• On-device license plate and mileage text recognition, with your confirmation
• ZIP archive export for your photos, records and reports
Rentals created before version 2.0 stay fully accessible. Restore Purchases restores Pro access, not deleted evidence.
AVAILABLE IN ENGLISH AND TURKISH
The app follows your preferred supported language. You can also choose English or Turkish in Settings.
GOOD TO KNOW
A photo-free draft does not use your free rental. RentalShield records your observations; it does not automatically detect damage, independently verify the scene or device clock, provide insurance, or guarantee a dispute outcome.
