The Japanese you need for a trip to Japan, then the JLPT N5.
TRAVEL
Eleven short modules in the order a trip happens: arriving, the konbini, restaurants, hotels and ryokan, trains, shopping, health, being polite, sights, reading the city. Each phrase comes with what staff say back and how you answer.
KNOW-HOW
Fifty quick cards on how Japan works: train types and station numbers, IC cards, the last train, tipping, shoes, onsen etiquette, emergency numbers. Each one has a one-question check.
JLPT N5
Twenty-two units covering the exam: both kana, 690 words, 103 kanji with stroke order, 72 grammar points, listening, reading passages, and a thirty-question mock test.
HOW YOU LEARN
Short sittings. What you are about to forget comes back first. Learn ahead, review a module, or go over everything you know, whenever you like. Three games to practice with, and a reading on every kanji.
KEEP GOING
A quick placement check so you start at the right level. A streak, a level that grows with what you remember, and an optional evening reminder. Works offline. Progress syncs with iCloud. Available in ten languages.
KIPPU PLUS
Both kana units, the first module of each path and the Guide are included. Kippu Plus opens every module, the three games and all seven themes, monthly or yearly.
