WalleoPay is a Cameroonian payment aggregator. This app is the merchant's own: your Mobile Money till, in your pocket, wherever you sell.
COLLECT AT THE COUNTER
Enter the amount in XAF and your customer's number. The request goes to their phone, they approve it with their PIN, and the payment status appears on yours — confirmed by the operator, not by a screenshot. MTN MoMo or Orange Money: the operator is worked out from the number, so your customer has nothing to choose.
YOUR BALANCE AND YOUR FIGURES
Available balance, collected today, month to date, number of payments. The balance stays hidden until you choose to show it, and the app tells you when the figures were last refreshed: when the network is poor, a dated figure beats an empty screen.
EVERY PAYMENT
The ones taken at the counter and the ones taken on your website. Search by reference, id or phone number, filter by status, and open the detail of each payment — operator, fee, net amount, reason for a failure.
YOUR PAYOUTS
Request your balance to your own Mobile Money number, from 1,000 FCFA, and follow each request.
SECURITY
Sign in with your password, then a six-digit code sent to your e-mail. No server key is shipped inside the app: your phone gets its own token, kept in the system keychain and revocable remotely from the Account screen. The amount is read back before you confirm, and a request cut off by a network drop is never resent on its own: no double debit.
SEVERAL PEOPLE, DIFFERENT RIGHTS
The merchant account separates roles: collecting at the counter and requesting a payout are not granted to everyone.
PRICE
3% per successful payment. A declined, cancelled or abandoned payment costs nothing. Opening an account is free.
WHAT YOU NEED
A WalleoPay merchant account, opened at walleopay.com. Live collection requires an approved file; until then, test mode is stated plainly on the collection screen.
Account closure can be requested from the app, on the Account screen.
