Sumline is a number logic puzzle. Three simple rules, one grid to fill, and only one way to complete it: logic is always enough, so you never have to guess.
THE RULES
• Each row has its own value, from 1 up to the number of rows.
• A row holds its value exactly as many times as that value: the row of value 3 holds three 3s, and 0 everywhere else.
• Each column must reach the total shown below it.
A short playable tutorial teaches them the first time you open the app.
ONE GRID A DAY
Every day at midnight (UTC) a new daily grid arrives, the same for everyone. Finish it several days in a row to build your streak, and catch up on the days you missed in the archive.
LEADERBOARDS
Every daily grid finished on its own day earns you points. Four leaderboards start again every week and every month: in your country and worldwide. No account to create: you appear under a nickname, which you can change by picking a word from a list. Taking part is optional, and your leaderboard data can be deleted in one tap.
AT YOUR OWN PACE
• Six grid sizes, from 3×4 to 8×9, unlocked as you play
• Notes to keep several candidates in a cell
• Undo and redo as much as you like
• “Check” at any time, with no limit
• One free hint on every grid
• Your statistics and your streak
• A daily reminder, if you want one

• Large text, VoiceOver and Reduce Motion supported
ANYWHERE, OFFLINE
The game works entirely offline, on the subway or on a plane. Your progress stays on your device.
Sumline is free and funded by discreet ads: no banners, and no ad ever interrupts a grid in progress.
