■ Built-in samples to try auto-split Tap "Sample Audio" or "Sample Video" at the top of the A–B Repeat and Video tabs. Ten basic sentences are in one file; tap "Auto-split" to make one section per sentence. The samples can use Pro features too. ■ Shuffle and repeat for playlists Shuffle a playlist in Music. In A–B Repeat, choose what happens when a track ends (stop, next track, or play again) and shuffle the tracks. ■ "Stop A–B Loop" While a section repeats, the bottom bar shows "Stop A–B Loop". Your A and B marks stay, and playback continues from there. ■ Easier section selection A section you choose during a repeat no longer jumps back to the old one. The section menu's "Find in List…" opens a list that keeps its place while the loop plays. In the video screen, the top bar is gone: close your own videos with the ← at the top-left, and linked videos with the Back button at the bottom.

■ A–B loops for videos, too Copy a video link and tap “Paste” at the top of the new Videos tab. Tap “A Start” and “B End” to loop the part in between. Sections, play counts, pauses between repeats, speed (0.5–2×) and comparing with your recording work just like in AB Repeat. You can add as many videos from a link as you like; without Pro, up to 3 sections per video. ■ Your own videos, with a waveform Videos (MP4, MOV) you put in On My iPhone > ABLooplay in the Files app show up under “My Videos” in the Videos tab, in the same folders. The audio waveform makes it easy to line up the start and end of a section. Add as many as you like, and make all the sections at once with “Auto-split” (Pro). ■ Log tab: a stamp for every practice day Practice for at least 1 minute in AB Repeat and that day gets a stamp on the calendar, or a star when you reach your daily goal. Tap a day to see how long you practiced and how many loops you played. You can also set the time of your practice reminder here. ■ A new Music player Tap a song and the player slides up; swipe down to go back to the list while it keeps playing. ≡ at the bottom right opens “Continue Playing” (up next, shuffle, repeat, speed and sleep timer), and the speech bubble at the bottom left shows the lyrics (timed scripts). ■ Favorite sections On the practice screen, tap the star next to “Section 1 of 3” and choose a folder. Tap the section in “Favorite Sections” to open its song or video and loop it right away. You can create, rename and reorder folders. ■ Auto-split cuts only at pauses of 1 second or more “By sentence” now splits only where the sound stops for 1 second or more, and “Only at long pauses” for 2 seconds or more. A short breath inside a sentence no longer splits it, so you get fewer, longer sections. “At short pauses too” has been removed. “Loop This Sentence” also takes a silence of 1 second or more as the end of a sentence. ■ Also new • A search field at the top of the Music and AB Repeat lists finds songs by title, artist or album • Undo up to 20 steps after deleting, joining or splitting sections (until you switch songs), or just shake your iPhone • With two or more sections, tap another one on the waveform to jump to it and loop it • MP3s with empty info (ID3 tags) get the file name as the title and the folder name as the artist and album (existing info is never overwritten) • The speed and pause buttons no longer wrap: each set sits in one row you can swipe sideways, and the Speed card moved above “How to repeat” • A time scale above the waveform • “Record After Original” is now “Original → Record”, and “Shuffle Sections” is now “Play Sections in Random Order” • Made for the foldable iPhone Duo: the tabs line up in a vertical strip at the edge of the screen, and the practice screen keeps its layout whether it’s open or closed

■ Loop this sentence with one tap Missed a sentence while listening? Tap “Loop This Sentence” in the bottom bar (“This Line” on the Music player). Without pressing A and B, it finds the pauses around the sentence, makes it a section and loops it. ■ Assign lesson text to sections Even text without times (a lesson’s transcript) works: “Auto-split” › “Paste Text and Assign to Sections” names each section with a sentence, from the top. You get the current sentence, hiding and dictation right away. ■ Subtitles (SRT, VTT), translations and the full script Subtitles load just like LRC, and each subtitle’s end becomes the section’s B. Bilingual files show the translation small under the sentence. Tap ≡ next to the sentence to read the whole script and jump to any line. ■ Add audio from videos Use ＋ › “From Videos in Photos”, or share a video from another app. Only the audio is kept, ready to practice like any other track. ■ Hide the text on the first play Touch and hold the eye button next to the sentence. Listen by ear first, then with the text from the second time. With “3 plays, then next”, it runs hands-free. ■ Compare your voice’s waveform After recording, the original and your voice are shown on the same time scale, so you can see a late start or a different length.
