Get urgent tasks out of your head. Three levels, one calm screen, and anything left untouched moves up until it gets done. HEED keeps the tasks that matter in front of you until they're done. Most of what you need to do has no due date: something to buy, a booking to make, a call you keep putting off. HEED gives every task a place on one calm screen, sorted into three levels: Urgent, Pressing and Soon. THINGS DON'T QUIETLY GO STALE Leave a task untouched for seven days and it moves up a level. Only real progress counts as touching it: editing, adding notes, ticking steps or focusing on it. Just looking at it doesn't. If you're waiting on someone, park the task for up to 14 days and it won't age while it's parked. CAPTURE IN SECONDS Type a task and it lands on the board. Tap any tile to add notes. Type "done" on its own line to finish it. BRAIN DUMP Type or dictate everything on your mind at once. HEED splits it into separate tasks and suggests a level for each, and nothing is added until you've checked it. BREAK IT DOWN Turn a big task into a few small next steps, as a checklist you can tick off. FOCUS Pick one task and start a timer: 10, 25 or 45 minutes, or your own length. Follow it from the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island. Park a stray thought as a new task without leaving your focus. THE SWEEP A quick review, one task at a time: done, keep, move it, or break it down. GENTLE REMINDERS A reminder at the times you choose, as many as you like, telling you what's waiting. Urgent tasks can come through as Time Sensitive. PERSONAL AND WORK Keep one board for everything, or add a Work board beside your Personal one. HEED opens on a choice of the two, each showing how many urgent tasks are waiting inside. NOTES, VOICE AND PHOTOS Add notes, a due date, a time limit, voice notes, photos or scanned documents to any task. Voice notes are transcribed on your iPhone, and you can turn what you said into tasks. Link an appointment to your calendar and its time stays in step both ways. AWAY MODE Going on holiday? Pause the whole board until the day you're back. Reminders go quiet, and one tap brings everything back early. WORKS WHERE YOU ARE Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, a Control Center control, Siri and Shortcuts, and tasks in Spotlight. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account, no ads, no tracking. Your tasks stay on your iPhone. Smart features use Apple Intelligence on the device, and dictation never leaves your phone. On iPhones without Apple Intelligence, HEED still works fully with simpler built-in rules.

Personal and Work: keep one board, or add a Work board from the ⋯ menu. HEED opens on a choice of the two, each showing how many urgent tasks are waiting. Long-press a task to move it across. Critical is now called Urgent, and the three levels have new heat colours: urgent red, pressing orange and soon yellow. The strip at the top lights up the level you're scrolling through. Also new: • Attach voice notes, photos and scanned documents to any task. Voice notes are transcribed on your iPhone and can be turned into tasks. • Give a task a time limit in days, or "today". Tasks due today sit at the top of Urgent. • Link appointment-like tasks to your calendar, and changes sync both ways. • Drag a task onto another level to move it. • Set a due date with an optional reminder. • Add as many check-in reminders as you like.
