You already know you spend too much on things you don't need. The problem isn't the budget, it's the urge. Buybrake is there for that exact moment: fighting pointless, impulse or compulsive buying, one urge at a time.
A BUTTON WHEN IT ITCHES
Urge rising? Open the app instead of the cart. 30 seconds of breathing, a few questions, your project in front of you. Then you decide. Most of the time, the urge has already passed.
YOUR STREAK
A counter of days without an impulse buy. Milestones at 7, 30, 90 days. A pact you choose: strict, flexible, or with one joker a month.
THE MONEY YOU DON'T SPEND
Every urge you resist adds the amount you didn't spend to your total. It's a counter, not an account: Buybrake never holds or pays out money. It shows you what stayed with you and what that means for the project you set yourself, in euros, coffees, hours of work.

Put the item aside for 24 h, 72 h or 30 days. We ask again whether you still want it. Often, you don't.

NO ACCOUNT, NO BANK
No sign-up, no bank connection, no ads. Your urges, projects and history stay on your iPhone. Only pseudonymous usage statistics are sent (screens, actions, amount brackets), never your urges or your amounts.
Buybrake is free with 3 urge sequences. The subscription unlocks everything: €4.99 per month or €29.99 per year with a 3-day trial. Payment is charged to your App Store account at confirmation. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period. You can manage and cancel it in your App Store account settings.
