Google Drive now opens with Google's own file picker: choose the files you want read aloud, and PDF Vibe can open only those files, nothing else in your Drive.

Ready for iPhone Duo. - Open the phone and your book opens like a real one: two pages, one on each side of the fold. - Half fold it and the controls stay clear of the hinge. - New screenshots for iPhone Duo on the App Store.

Now on iPad and Apple Vision Pro. - On iPad, the player and chapters sit beside the page, and your shelf beside the player. - On Vision Pro, your books float in your room with the cover, the player and the page in one window. - PDFs read with their paragraphs intact: a paragraph that runs onto the next page stays in one piece, and page footers are no longer read aloud. - Japanese and Chinese PDFs join their lines without stray spaces. - Long books import faster.

A new look, and a faster app. - Your library is now a bookshelf: real covers for PDFs and books, and cloth bindings for everything else. - Pick up where you left off from the Continue card, with play right on it. - Google Drive lists your files as soon as it opens, shows each import as it comes in, and never adds the same book twice. - Choose a Paper, Night or Papyrus page, with serif or sans serif type. - Karen is the new default voice, and the best voices sit at the top of the list. - Opens about three times faster, and books open without a pause. - On iPhone Duo, open the phone like a book: play controls and chapters on the left page, your words on the right. Or pick Words on Both Pages and read across the whole screen. - Runs on iOS 15 and later, back to iPhone 6s.

Google Drive, built in. Browse your Drive inside the app and read any PDF, book or document straight from it. Files can stay on Google Drive: only the words come to your iPhone, so a library of big PDFs takes almost no space. Re-import, download a copy, or open the file on Drive from the reader menu. A clearer Add screen, a Google Drive section in Settings with the space each part uses, and a cache you can clear at any time.
