• Behind-the-scenes improvements. When the app is first opened after install, it now sends one anonymous note of how it was found (for example an ad), with no ID that links back to you.

• Fixed sound sometimes dropping out during the solve animation. • News about new features now reaches every player, not only people who updated from an earlier version, and appears in Spanish when the app is in Spanish.

Wins you can feel • A finished row lights up and sparkles, and when a puzzle pays coins they fly into your total. • Sound is on from the start, with a Sound switch in Settings. Chain has sound and vibration too. A new look • A new app icon and launch screen. • How to Play shows what each tile means: wrong row, right row and a finished word. Themes • Tap a theme to use it or buy it, and try one free with a single tap. • On every theme, tiles already on the right row get a dotted outline, and finished rows are tinted so they stand out. On Insert Coin they turn gold. • Buying Every Theme now unlocks it straight away, without needing Restore. Chain • Get lucky now applies to the next board you play, and a lucky board tells you it is one. • A short explainer before your first bonus round. • Level 100 pays five times a normal bonus round, plus hints and lucky boards. Past it, a new climb begins. • Up to three ads a day for extra moves, up from two. Everything else • Your Tessera shows the right tier for solves synced from your account. • Leave a replay part way and it picks up where you left it. • Signing in by email keeps your code if you leave the app to find it. • Word definitions now work in Spanish. • Signed-out players can now share a result. • Sharing sends one short line and your link. • More rude and offensive words are kept out of the daily grid. • Text no longer gets cut off at the largest font size. • Small grey text is easier to read in dark mode.
