EdgeNotes keeps your sticky notes where you can always reach them and never have to look at them: docked to the edge of your screen.
When you're not using it, EdgeNotes is a slim strip of color at the side of your screen, one mark for each note. Reach for it and your notes spread out like a hand of cards, each with its own label. Rest on one to read it, and move away to tuck it back. Click a note to write in it, and it stays open until you're done.
WHAT YOU GET

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Your notes live in a database on your Mac. The title and text of every note are encrypted with AES-GCM, and the key stays in your Keychain on that Mac. There is no account and no server, and EdgeNotes itself never connects to the internet. No analytics, no tracking, no third-party code. EdgeNotes asks for no system permissions at all: no Accessibility, no Input Monitoring, no Screen Recording.
Your notes stay exportable, always.
Ratings & Reviews

• Your newest notes always show in the deck. When it's full, the oldest step aside behind "more", and a note you bring back from the archive lands in view.
• Search lists notes whose title matches first.
• Back Up Notes… saves every note to one file, from the pill's right-click menu or the menu bar.
• Open at Login is now in the right-click menu as well as Settings.
• Text replacements you set up in System Settings now work in notes.
• Send Feedback and Rate on the App Store, in Settings.
