Ember Leaf is the members’ app of KD Leaf Diaries, a private collectors’ society in London, kept by KD since 2018.
Membership is by invitation. The app does not create accounts: sign in with the account the club has given you. If you are not a member, the application opens on kdld.co.uk.

What needs you today, on one page: the next gathering and your reply to it, what in your humidor has come ready, your last tasting and your seat.
Your diary
A quick entry takes a moment at the end of a cigar: what it was, where, a rating out of five and one line. When there is more to say, the full tasting form holds it — the thirds, the scores, the flavours and what was in the glass. Your diary in numbers shows what the entries add up to. Any tasting can become a card to share as an image.
The humidor
Boxes and lines, with a ledger of what went in and what came out. The code stamped on a box by the factory is decoded for you. An ageing calendar shows when each box comes ready, and conditions readings give the humidor a history of its own.
Pairings
A suggestion from your own humidor for the evening you have in mind, with coffee pairings from Custos beside it.
The Table
The club’s gatherings, as a list or a month. Reply, add an evening to your calendar, accept a place offered from the waiting list, and carry your check-in pass to the door.
The Register
The club’s record of Habanos. Search it, read the facts of each cigar, and mark the ones you want to try, the ones you have tried and your favourites.
Places, the Academy and the club desk
Lounges the club knows, on a map; your progress through the Leaf Academy; the weekly Ember Letter; and the club desk, for a question or a request to the club.
Your account
Your details, the notifications you want and no others, your seat card, a copy of your records, and a way to delete your account.
Private by design
Your diary, your humidor and your preferences are visible to you alone. Face ID can keep the app closed to anyone else holding your phone. There is no advertising and no tracking.
Black and white, as the club is, following your phone’s light or dark setting.

Ratings & Reviews

Adding an event agenda to your calendar now adds each entry once, even after a repeat tap, and says why if it cannot.
