THE FULL BIRTH CHART Your baby's birth star screen now opens into the whole janma patrika: the panchang of the day (tithi, vara, nakshatra, yoga and karana), the Moon sign and the Sun sign, Rahu and Ketu in their signs, and every Vimshottari dasha period with its dates and sub-periods. THE STONE The ratna of your baby's ruling planet, named with the cheaper substitute the tradition accepts in its place. A READING FOR EVERY DAY Follow the birth star and each day is counted from it — tara bala and chandra bala, with that day's panchang. A card above the tab bar carries it; tap for the detail or dismiss it until tomorrow. As many charts and as many readings as you like, for as long as you own the app. Nothing to unlock, nothing to subscribe to, and still no connection needed — it is all worked out on your phone. DARK MODE Bothnames follows your phone's appearance now. Settings has Appearance if you would rather pin it to Light or Dark. FIXED The names listed under a birth star took their turn through the syllables properly. They were ordered alphabetically before, so the first syllable filled the screen and the others were hundreds of names down.
