What's new in 2.2 · Redesigned for iPad: in landscape, pick a console on the left and start playing on the right; Settings in two columns; Touch Controls sit right under your thumbs when you hold both sides · Easier play away from home: if your home internet has a public IP, tap Set Up Router Automatically at home and your router is set up for you, no router settings page needed. 2.0 makes playing on iPhone feel like holding your controller in front of the TV: vibration, triggers, touchpad and motion are all here, and the picture goes up to 120 fps. • Up to 120 fps: pick 120 under Quality > Frame Rate for smoother motion (supported iPhones) • Game Vibration: your controller rumbles with the game; with touch controls or a controller without motors, your iPhone vibrates instead • Trigger Effects: resistance and vibration on L2 and R2 in PS5 games, on DualSense • Touchpad: swipe and click your controller's touchpad; the touchpad in touch controls is bigger now and you can swipe on it too • Motion: your controller's motion sensors just work; with no PlayStation controller connected, turn and tilt your iPhone instead • Mic: turn it on in the in-stream menu for in-game voice chat and games where you blow into the mic • The PS and Create buttons go straight to your PS5 • Play Away from Home: once your router is set up, connect to your PS5 at home over cellular or another Wi-Fi network (console page > Play Away from Home) • Picture: HDR, a new 540p option that uses less data, and Super Resolution on supported iPhones • Stutter no longer counts toward your free trial • Write to the developer right from Settings Improved the experience and fixed known issues.
