Pennykin helps you plan everyday spending by category, record purchases and keep a shared view with the people you budget with.
A daily budget that carries forward
Choose a daily amount for groceries, transport or little joys. Each day adds to the category budget. Purchases reduce it, and what you don't spend stays for later. A negative balance shows spending ahead of your plan. These are planning amounts, not money held in Pennykin or your bank balance.
Record a purchase while it's fresh
Enter the amount, choose a category and save. Add a description when you need one. Review your history by day, period or person, tap a day in a chart to see its purchases, and open statistics to see spending by category, person and month.
Your budget, wherever you are
Keep separate budgets for home, personal spending or a holiday. Record purchases in different currencies and view them in the currency you prefer. Exchange rates update online; saved rates remain available offline.
Start free, without an account
Expenses, categories, daily budgets, history and currencies work on your device. Your budget is saved automatically, and you can keep adding expenses without internet access.
Budget together with Pennykin Plus
Plus adds sync across devices and shared budgets for up to 6 people per family, including the organizer. One person subscribes; invited members join without buying another plan. Connect your account with Apple, Google or email, then share an invitation code.
Add purchases from receipt photos
Photograph a receipt, review its items and categories, then save it to your budget. With Plus, everyone you invite to that budget can scan receipts without buying a separate subscription. Soliq QR receipts from Uzbekistan are supported too.
Less copying from bank messages
With Plus, an Apple Shortcuts automation can turn matching purchase SMS into expenses. You choose which messages to forward and review the category. Pennykin cannot read your inbox or connect to your bank.
If Plus ends, syncing and new invitations pause. Your saved local budget remains available for everyday use.
Pennykin Plus offers monthly and yearly auto-renewing subscriptions. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation. The subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it in your Apple Account subscription settings.
