■ Wei, Shu and Wu — three stories
Take charge of Liu Bei's Shu, Cao Cao's Wei or Sun Quan's Wu. Each faction has its own owner, goals and story, told in 5 chapters with 5 endings shaped by your choices during the season.
■ 8 clubs, 144 generals
Guan Yu, Zhang Fei, Zhao Yun, Zhang Liao, Xiahou Yuan, Lu Xun, Gan Ning and many more. Every general has different ratings, potential and personality, with a pixel-art portrait and biography.
■ Three decisions a week
Each week, choose three actions: focused training, pair training, team tactics, recovery, player talks, scouting, transfer offers or press conferences. Keep an eye on wages, gate income and sponsorship.
In the staff meeting at the club office, your strategist, trainer, medic and finance & scouting staff suggest opponent analysis, lineup rotation, recovery, renewals and signings. Follow their advice or delegate. Recommended-signing cards from your scouts let you sign a player at the listed fee.
Before each match, the opponent briefing compares attack, passing and defense with this week's opponent and shows their key player and this season's head-to-head results.
After training, you see each player's XP, growth points and fatigue, plus a word from your drillmaster.
■ Matches and ace duels
Pick your starting eleven, formation, attacking style and pressing, then kick off. At half-time, change players and tactics. At key moments, aces face off in one-on-one duels. In attacking duels you choose: charge through, link with a teammate or keep the ball. Results are calculated from ratings and your decisions. Watch matches at up to 4x speed.
■ The 14-round Central Plains League and the cup
A season runs from preseason through 14 league rounds to the season review. An 8-club knockout cup is played in preseason and at the end of the season. When a season ends, a new one begins. No need to log in on real-world days.
■ Owner goals
From season 2 the owner sets three season goals. Swap one during preseason. Meeting a goal raises the owner's trust, and if trust is already full you get one extra action next week.
■ Sponsor deals and market rumors
At the start of each season, pick a steady, lump-sum or performance sponsor deal; the performance deal pays a bonus for every win and draw. After each match, market rumors tell how the townsfolk reacted to the result and scorer, with the change in fan support.
■ A club with a history
Every player's appearances, goals and assists are recorded, with league top scorer and assist tables and a hall of fame for each season.
■ Every general's era
Long-serving generals slowly decline and eventually retire. Youth players join every season. Choose a difficulty (Easy, Normal, Hard) when you start a new club and at the start of each new season.
■ Account and purchases
Start right away as a guest. Link your Apple Account to continue your club on another iPhone. Purchases stay on your game account and can be restored through the App Store. You can delete your account in Settings.
■ Optional purchases
· Club Banner — an ornate banner on your HQ, club office, match scoreboard and result screen, plus a profile frame (cosmetic)
· Glory of the Ace — ace colours and entrance in duels (cosmetic)
· Peach Garden Chronicle — a standalone story set before Liu Bei, Guan Yu and Zhang Fei join one club, with 3 challenge matches
