NOTHING LEAVES YOUR DEVICE • Transcription uses Apple's on-device speech models; speaker separation runs inside the app • Saidby has no networking code at all: no server, no cloud, no upload, no sync • No account, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising identifier • Its App Store privacy label reads "Data Not Collected": a fact about how the app is built, not a promise • Works offline: the speech model for each language is downloaded once by the system, and from then on transcription needs no connection • Saidby hands a transcript to another app only when you export or share it yourself Client meetings, medical consultations, interviews under embargo: the recording and the transcript stay in Saidby's own folder on your device, because nothing in the app could send them anywhere. When the meeting ends, Saidby separates the voices, writes down the words, and lines the two up: every paragraph carries a name and a time. Name each voice once, from its first sentence, and the whole transcript updates. WHO SAID WHAT • Choose how many people are in the meeting (up to 20), and Saidby separates their voices by itself and labels each one • Each voice is introduced by its opening sentence, with a play button, so putting a name on it takes seconds • Speaker changes land on sentence boundaries, not in the middle of a word • One voice split in two by mistake?
