Twine: Games for Two
Long distance couple games

Made for different time zones: take your turn now, they play theirs in the morning. 132 games for two, from Court Piece and Ludo to Chess and Hand Cricket.
Twine is 132 games for two people, built for couples who aren't in the same room — different cities, different countries, different time zones. It works just as well on the same sofa.
LONG DISTANCE, MADE SHORTER
Play live while you're on a call, or take your turn now and let them find it in the morning. With Play Anytime, a game of chess can take a week: your move now, theirs tonight. Neither of you sees the other's answers until you've both played.
THE GAMES YOU GREW UP WITH, MADE FOR TWO
• Cards: Color Clash in six house-rule versions, Spades, Hearts, Court Piece and Rang, Judgement, Twenty-Nine, Gin Rummy, Indian Rummy, Crazy Eights, Go Fish, Durak, Scopa and more
• Board classics: Chess and Chess960, Ludo, Snakes & Ladders, Backgammon, Checkers, Reversi, Mancala, Nine Men's Morris, Sea Battle, Dots and Boxes, Ultimate Tic-Tac-Toe
• Playground games: Hand Cricket with the odd-or-even toss, Rock Paper Scissors, Hangman, Word Duel, Word Chain, Name Place Animal Thing, Five Dice and a Sudoku race
QUESTIONS THAT DON'T RUN OUT
Never Have I Ever, Would You Rather, This or That, Hot Takes, How Well Do You Know Me, Mind Meld, a 36-question Deep Dive and more. 1,233 prompts, and Twine remembers what you've seen, so you get something new before anything repeats.
THREE WAYS TO PLAY
• One phone: pass it back and forth. No account needed.
• Same room: two phones connect directly. No internet, no server. It works on a plane.
• Any distance: pair your phones once. Invites, turns, chat and nudges get through even if one of you was offline.
A PRIVATE LINE FOR TWO
Chat with typing indicators and read receipts. One-tap nudges. Call from Twine with FaceTime, then play any game inside the call with SharePlay. Snap Swap: send a photo of right now; it stays locked until they send one back.
DAILY SPARK
The same question for both of you every day, wherever you are. Answer yours to unlock theirs.
END-TO-END ENCRYPTED
Once you're paired, chat, nudges, game turns, photos and video are sealed on your phone and opened only on theirs. Our server passes them along and can't read them. When you pair, both phones show four emoji: if they match, nobody is sitting between you.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Sign in with Apple, name only. Twine never asks for your email. No analytics, no ad tracking. One-phone and same-room play need no account at all.
AFTER DARK (18+)
Explicit games and decks for adults. Off by default, behind an 18+ confirmation, and only when you both switch them on.
FREE AND TWINE+
Free: 3 games a day from a library of 31, with unlimited chat, nudges and Daily Spark. Joining a game your partner starts never counts.
Twine+: every game, every prompt, no daily limit, no promos. One subscription covers the couple: start a game and your partner plays it too. $24.99 a year with a free first week, $4.99 a month, or $59.99 once for life. Prices vary by country.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in Settings > your name > Subscriptions.

Ratings & Reviews
- This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
Sharing a room code, your Twine code or a game result now includes a link, so whoever you send it to can get Twine in one tap.
After a few games, Twine may ask for a rating using Apple's own rating sheet. Never mid-game, and never after a loss.
