You already download statements from your bank. Give one to Dr Bling Bling and it reads it, sorts every payment and tells you what your money did.
NO BANK LOGIN
It never asks for your bank password, because it never talks to your bank. It reads a file you already have: PDF, Excel or CSV. A photo of a paper statement works too.
NOTHING LEAVES THE PHONE
Statements are read on the iPhone itself. There is no account to create, no server, and the app collects no usage data.
YOUR STATEMENT CHECKS ITSELF
Where a bank prints a running balance, every line has to agree with it. If a figure was misread, the app says so.
IT ASKS ONCE, THEN REMEMBERS
Banks cut shop names off halfway. Whatever the app does not recognise comes to one screen, one at a time, biggest first. Answer once and every payment to that merchant is filed the same way, including the ones already in.
