Story Constraints Are Fun (SCAF) turns odd little rules into writing games. Choose a challenge or browse the collection, then make a story that fits.
Try an exact word or letter count, use only certain vowels, avoid a common word, or fit three unexpected things into a story. Every challenge gives you a clear rule to write around.
Write in the app or choose paper mode for your notebook or classroom. When you submit a story with a checkable rule, SCAF checks it then. There is no live counter to do the work for you. A few creative challenges and paper stories use a simple self-check.
Stories you finish in the app are saved on your device, with a small stats page to revisit them. No account, ads, or subscriptions.
