Lifetime Pro is no longer sold. If you already bought it, it keeps working and you can restore it on other devices with the same Apple Account. A family locked after a subscription ends now shows how many people and photos you added. Subscribe again and it opens just as you left it. A shared family now follows the Pro of the person who made it. If their Pro ends, a family of more than 15 people locks, and you can open it with your own Pro. The Pro screen has a new option, "Share usage info if I request a refund". It is optional, and you can buy without turning it on.

Birth order is now set for all siblings together. When you pick one sibling's place, the others adjust so no two share the same place, and you can change another sibling's place right from the sibling list, which now shows each sibling's age. When three or more siblings are all in order, map cards show it too, like (1st) or (youngest), and maps you save as an image include it. In Settings, Recently deleted now has a Delete All button at the top right to clear the whole list at once. The free plan now covers up to 15 people per family, up from 10.

A photo you add now becomes the face right away. No need to pick it again on the card. Fill-in no longer skips the next person after you finish one, and swiping it down saves what you typed. Siblings and friend lines on the family map now stay in place every time you open it. Your children now gather in their own area in the middle of the map, and lines no longer cover faces when you add friends or coworkers. With app lock on, nothing else shows above the lock screen, and you are asked only once when you come back. On a phone without a passcode the app no longer locks, so you can always open it. Recently deleted now has a delete-now button, and the home screen feels lighter. For relatives whose birth year you don't know, you can just note whether they're older or younger than you and by about how many years, and you can add pets with their name and age on their owner's card. The map now moves smoothly even with a big family and opens on you. Large family maps can be saved as an image too. You can now try every feature free for your first 7 days, with no payment details needed. On iPhone Duo, the map grows to fill the larger screen when you unfold it. We also fixed a brief flash of another part of the map when zooming in and out.

New: Kinwise Plus. Before holidays, birthdays, memorial days and gatherings, get a prep pack made for your family: who you'll see and what to call them, greetings and things to bring (Coming up > See prep pack). Lifetime Pro includes it too. Automatic backups are now also kept in your iCloud Drive. If you reinstall the app or switch devices, restore an earlier family from Settings > Automatic backups. The family map is tidier: friends and coworkers now sit below the family, and pinch to zoom follows your fingers smoothly. Birthdays and holidays now show the right date in every time zone. Fixed a crash that kept the app from opening after you named only one or two relatives. Also fixed: the app freezing while creating an invite link, and family members looking disconnected when the same family was saved twice during sync. Your own family now stays as one, and restoring a backup brings your family back to that point instead of adding a new one.
