Native Mac TIA tracker: compose authentic Atari sound, make your own instruments, open Kylearan’s .ttt songs, and generate 7800basic playsfx for 2600 and 7800 homebrew. Partita is a native macOS TIA music tracker, compatible with Kylearan’s TIATracker .ttt songs. It is based on the original tracker by Andre “Kylearan” Wichmann and is released under the GNU GPL v2. Compose music and design your own instruments for the Atari TIA chip — the sound hardware in the Atari 2600 and 7800. Playback uses Stella’s TIA emulation so pitches and distortions match the real machine. For homebrew programmers, Partita generates 7800basic playsfx code you can drop into a project, and can export dasm track data for batari Basic, 7800basic, and assembly. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Edit patterns, instruments, and percussion in a document-based Mac app • Open and save TIATracker .ttt songs, including bundled example tracks • Preview a 7800basic sound library and save your own custom instruments or paste 7800 Basic code straight into your project • Copy or export .b78 playsfx snippets from the Output tab without changing the song until you choose Add to Slot • Work in PAL or NTSC, with pitch guides and global or per-pattern tempo • Use the app in English, German, French, Polish, Spanish, or Ukrainian CREDITS Original TIATracker by Andre “Kylearan” Wichmann. TIA sound emulation from Stella (Bradford W. Mott, Stephen Anthony, and the Stella Team). macOS app by Tikidays Software. This app is released under the GNU GPL v2.
