One riddle, shuffled letter cards, one hidden noun – no time limit, no ads, offline. What is the hidden word? ABCTHRUM asks a riddle and shuffles the letters of the answer. You arrange the cards until the noun is spelled correctly. A RIDDLE, NOT A WORD TO COPY • Every word has its own riddle, for example: “Which round fruit grows on a tree and can be red, green or yellow?” • The answer stays hidden until you have arranged it • You can reveal the answer only after 30 seconds; revealed words are counted separately PRACTISE LETTER ORDER • Drag cards directly with your finger, or tap a card and then its destination • Long words wrap onto several rows • Works with VoiceOver WORDS FROM DYSLEXIA TRAINING • 138 English nouns from the Dolch and Fry sight word lists • 404 German nouns from the German Basic 1000 of the Sichtwort app • Easy (2–4 letters), Medium (5–7), Hard (8+) or Mixed • Up to 10 riddles per round; language and level are saved AT YOUR OWN PACE • No time limit, no penalty sounds, no ads, no purchases, no account • Works completely offline; no data is collected • For iPhone and iPad, in portrait and landscape The blue letter cards come from ABC-Spiel.com, a website of the Austrian dyslexia association EÖDL. ABCTHRUM is a project of Dachverband Legasthenie Deutschland e.V. (German Dyslexia Association, DVLD) together with EÖDL. For children, teens and adults who want to practise letter order and spelling.
