Maskonym is a privacy camera that applies your chosen face and background effects in real time and captures the result you see. Reduce the chance of forgetting to hide something after shooting, and review every result before saving. DETAILED FACE PROTECTION • Process every detected face • Choose whole face, whole face + hair, eyes, mouth, upper face, lower face, or everything except the eyes • Fine-tune position and size with drag, pinch, or sliders SEPARATE CONTROLS FOR FACES AND BACKGROUNDS • Apply blur, pixelation, crystal mosaic, or an opaque cover independently • Adjust effect strength and cover color for each target • Start from quick setups for common combinations • Save named presets CAPTURE TOOLS • Take processed photos • Switch front/rear cameras, zoom, and use a 3- or 10-second timer • Choose whether to mirror front-camera output • Zoom in to inspect photos and videos before saving • Save to Photos or share • Gently correct exaggerated close-up perspective around the nose without changing face shape, eye size, or skin texture DESIGNED FOR PRIVACY Face detection, person segmentation, and image processing all happen on your device. There is no account, advertising, analytics, or tracking. Photos are exported as processed JPEGs without metadata, and only processed pipeline output is written to video. You can review every capture before saving it. PHOTOS ARE FREE Photo capture and every photo effect are free, with no ads or watermarks. You can also preview video effects for free. Recording processed video requires the one-time Video Pro in-app purchase. It is not a subscription and has no recurring fee. Video records at 720p/30 fps, and you can choose audio or silent recording for each capture. IMPORTANT Automatic detection does not guarantee anonymity and may miss an intended area. Always check that everything you want to hide is fully covered before saving or sharing. Even with faces hidden, voice, clothing, and surroundings may identify someone.
