The tutorial isn’t like reading a book it’s interactive and guides your thumbs while you’re learning the controls, which I really really like. I’m excited to see what else Green Bee Games has in store for us! Princess Oona looks just like my girlfriend so when she hits the bad guys with that strike of justice it feels like I’m right at home! 10/10 game for sure I’m hooked.

This game is a fun auto battler that is different and you can tell some love has been put into it. However, after passing the beginning parts of the game and also spending money. You get stuck on wait timers with no content to do in the meantime. There is a critical design flaw within the game that makes progressing very slow, has you waiting on pass resets, and genuinely makes you not want to open the game. You get to the point where you are just waiting on your 15 resets to auto-battle and gain marginal gear / exp. Meanwhile the paywall is fine in mobile games for power, but this is more so pay to play which is not fun. Hopefully they can fix the core aspect of the game which has you just waiting around doing nothing, by increasing the base number of passes you can have significantly. You start with 30… which is essentially 15 auto battles. It needs to be more like 200. Could be a 5 star game if they optimize progression rather than just making it pay to play.

I stumbled upon their first game in 2020 and that game was awesome. This game is even better with all new systems, features and synergies to work with. My favorite part is how involved the developers are in their game. 6/5 stars.

I’ve long been a fan of the auto battler genre. AoA brings a fresh UI, in-depth battle systems, and a fun storyline to a very polished app. Definitely worth checking out!
