Waypoints Compass & Backtrack is a reliable navigation and outdoor companion designed for hikers, explorers, and adventure enthusiasts. Whether you're trekking in the mountains or exploring new trails, this app helps you create, manage, and revisit your waypoints with ease. The compass that remembers for you. You wander. It remembers — where you parked, where you stayed the night, and the way back. Waypoints Compass & Backtrack works on its own while you focus on the trail. Free download with a full 5-day trial. One purchase, own it forever. No subscription. IT MARKS YOUR SPOTS. AUTOMATICALLY. • You park and walk away. Done — the spot is already pinned. Cars, motorcycles, bikes: the app tells them apart by how you move, and keeps the latest parking spot for each. • You settle into a café, a campsite, or a hostel. Where you spent the day and where you spent the night quietly appear on your map. • Signal drops in the backcountry? Your "Last Signal" point saves itself — the one sure anchor when the world goes quiet. IT NEVER FORGETS THE WAY BACK. • Your trail records itself as you walk — no start button, no drift noise, just the real path you took. • Turn around anytime: live guidance leads you back along your own route, with a heads-up the moment you stray off it. A PRECISION COMPASS, TUNED FOR THE OUTDOORS. • Smooth, stable 2D/3D dial with haptic tick feedback at every degree mark. • Magnetic interference warning keeps you from trusting a false bearing. WAYPOINTS THAT POINT YOU HOME. • Drop a pin in one tap — with notes, sharing, and street address. • Pick any saved spot and the compass cone points straight at it, with live direction and distance as you turn. YOUR TRAIL, AS A DIARY. • Every day on the trail becomes a calendar entry: daily maps of your tracks and waypoints, ready to relive or share. • Import and export GPX and KML — your routes move with you between apps and devices. WEATHER, SAFETY & ALTITUDE. • Live weather and hourly forecast by Apple Weather, severe weather alerts, global disaster and quake info. • Sunrise and sunset times with in-app reminders, so you're never caught out after dark. • Relative altitude tracking for elevation awareness — all data cached for offline, no-signal moments. PRIVATE BY DESIGN. • No ads. No account needed. Your data stays on your device — nothing leaves your phone. • 30 languages, one global app. Download free. Unlock everything once. Wander further, come back with confidence.
