Dawnlock is a real alarm clock. It rings through Silent mode and Focus, on your Lock Screen and Apple Watch, even when the app is closed. To turn it off, you do a short wake-up mission. Until you do, your most distracting apps stay locked.
WAKE-UP MISSIONS
• Math: solve a few problems (easy, medium or hard)
• Type it out: type a line exactly. Hard to fake half-asleep.
• Scan a code: register your toothpaste or coffee, then walk over and scan it
• Shake: shake your phone until the bar fills
• Walk: get up and take real steps
• Photo: snap the same spot you picked, like the bathroom sink
• Memory: remember the tiles that lit up
NO SLEEPING THROUGH IT
• Swipe the alarm away, or hit the volume or power button, and it rings again, louder each time
• Stop never turns it off: it rings again a minute later until you do the mission (add a few snoozes if you want them)
• Wake-up check: a few minutes after your mission, confirm you're still up
• Can't do a mission right now? Switch to a backup. You're never stuck.
APPS STAY LOCKED TILL YOU'RE UP
Pick the apps you scroll in bed. They lock at bedtime or when the alarm rings, and unlock when your mission is done. It always unlocks after your safety window, no matter what.
