Japanese is now available in Settings → Language → 日本語. Play in Japanese, follow the 23-step tutorial, and explore all 96 illustrated solving techniques with Japanese search. Achievements, puzzle sharing and import, and the offline privacy policy are also translated. Your language choice is saved on your device and in exported backups. Import backups with Japanese selected using a version that supports Japanese.

You can now share Sudoku puzzles with friends. Send the original puzzle to start together, or include your current board, notes, and time so a friend can continue. Paste a shared message on the home screen to import it. Friend puzzles keep their own progress, separate from regular games and daily challenges.

Enjoy a new cheerful puzzle completion sound. The final correct number plays only the completion celebration and cancels any remaining region sounds. E-paper mode is now named Older device compatibility mode. Its description explains the reduced resource use and recommends enabling it on older devices or when the game feels slow.

Fixed an issue that could stop sound cues after one move completed multiple regions. Completion, error, and puzzle-finished cues now play reliably in sequence. E-paper mode is now off by default, and its Settings description uses device-neutral wording.

New Solving Techniques lessons with step-by-step diagrams, search, and zoomable example grids. Optional game sounds now distinguish completed rows, columns, and 3×3 boxes, with cues for mistakes and finished puzzles. Clearer selection and completed-digit markers, plus protection against accidental edits to correctly filled cells. Traditional Chinese, English, and e-ink mode supported.
