Shokonotes 1.2 for iPhone: faster and sturdier. • Much faster opening: from the second launch on, your library appears at once, even a large one. • A more capable search at the bottom of the screen: "exact phrase", -word, a | b. • Links between notes and "Linked From" in the reader; note templates with a long press on the compose button. • Many robustness fixes. • New setting: automatic closing of Markdown syntax can be turned off in Settings > Editor.

• Opens large folders, such as your whole iCloud Drive, without freezing or being closed by iOS: the library loads in the background. • Notes shared from Safari are saved once the library has finished loading. • Smoother while the app is open: the folder is refreshed in the background.

A bigger Shokonotes. • A small Markdown editor of its own, on Mac and iPhone: colour that reads well, code highlighted by language, lists and code fences that continue as you type, and saving that never waits for a button. Choose in Settings whether Shokonotes' editor or the one you already use opens your notes. Reading still never shows a cursor. • Add images to a note by dragging, pasting, or from your photo library. • Edit tables in a grid instead of typing pipes. • A setup assistant guides your first launch and can create a new notes folder with a short manual and Markdown examples. • Detach a note into its own read-only window, handy on a second display (Mac). • The sample library is now read-only and starts fresh each time. • A new app icon.
