Before the show: alerts for sold-out seats. After the credits: every ticket, seat and price on the record, and what your movie membership really saved you. Wait for the seat, not the refresh. Your showtime is sold out, or the only seats left are in the front row. Filmi watches the seats you want at AMC theaters and sends you a push notification if one opens. Once you’ve booked, your AMC emails can log the tickets for you. HOW SEAT ALERTS WORK 1. Pick a theater and a showtime from the next two weeks. 2. Tap the sold-out seats you want. They turn gold. 3. Filmi checks them on a schedule until the movie starts. If a check finds one open, you get a push that names the movie, the seats, the showtime and the theater. 4. Tap “Book on AMC” to open AMC’s own seat map for that showtime, and book there. • Watch wheelchair spaces and companion seats like any other seat • Only want seats side by side? Ask for 2 or more together • Save a seat map for the room you like, and star your favorite theaters • “Keep watching” if the seat that opened isn’t the one, or “Got my seats” to end the alert • Alerts arrive as push notifications, only after you turn them on, and quiet hours keep them out of your night Seats open only when someone cancels or the theater releases them, so Filmi can’t promise one will. It keeps checking so you don’t have to. BOOKING EMAILS THAT LOG THEMSELVES A free account comes with your own Filmi address. Auto-forward AMC’s booking and cancellation emails to it, and Filmi logs your tickets for you, then takes them off if a show is canceled or refunded. • Set it up once. Profile → Booking emails walks you through Gmail auto-forwarding in three steps, and shows how to send them from other email • Booking emails become tickets, with the movie, showtime, theater, seats and price filled in. Booked shows count down in Up next, then move to your tickets • Cancellations take themselves off. A canceled or refunded ticket leaves your tickets, and Filmi keeps count. One you rated or noted waits for your check; a show canceled and rebooked stays one entry • Your own Filmi address, private to you. Filmi checks each auto-forwarded email really came from AMC before adding it, and holds one you forward by hand for a quick check • Email is only for bringing tickets in.
