The app groups similar photos, keeps the best one, and shows how much storage you can free up. Your photos never leave your iPhone, and nothing is deleted without your OK.
CLEAN UP IN 4 STEPS
• Open the app to scan. While your iPhone is charging, scanning keeps going in the background.
• Similar photos are grouped. Every group keeps one photo: the sharpest, or the one you marked as a Favorite.
• You take a look. Zoom in, or compare two photos side by side. Untick anything you want to keep.
• Delete, with a way back. Deleted photos wait in the app's Trash and can be restored in one tap. When you empty it, they move to Recently Deleted in Photos for another 30 days.
WHAT IT FINDS
• Duplicates: identical photos and videos saved more than once, and copies of the same photo (one you sent in a chat and saved again, or downloaded from the web).
• Burst and back-to-back shots: several shots within seconds. The best one is kept.
• Look-alike photos: the same scene a few minutes apart.
• Blurry, dark or accidental shots: shaky, too dark, or taken in your pocket.
• Screenshots: old one-time code screenshots, and screenshots older than 30 days (or 3 months, 6 months, a year — your choice).
• Videos: screen recordings, clips under 2 seconds recorded by accident, videos saved from social media, and videos over 100 MB.
• Large items: photos and videos sorted by size, so the biggest ones are easy to spot.
Each item has a label that shows how sure the app is. Only the items it's sure about are pre-selected.
SHRINK INSTEAD OF DELETE
• Compress videos: 4K videos reduced to Full HD. Much smaller, with the date, location and albums kept.
• Live Photos to regular photos: removes the short video attached to the photo and keeps the photo.
Originals are only replaced if you say so.
LEAVES IMPORTANT PHOTOS ALONE
• Favorites and photos in your own albums are always kept.
• Photos from the last 24 hours are never pre-selected.
• Banking, receipt, ticket and QR code screenshots are recognized and never suggested for deletion.
• Every group of similar photos keeps at least one.
YOUR PHOTOS STAY ON YOUR IPHONE
All the analysis happens on your device. There's no server receiving your photos, no account and no ads. You can give the app access to only some of your photos.
EASY ON YOUR BATTERY
Heavy scanning only runs while charging. It pauses when the battery is low or the phone gets hot.
FREE AND PRO
The free version scans your whole library, shows every suggestion, and lets you delete up to 5 items a day that you pick yourself. Exact duplicates don't count toward that limit. Pro removes the limit, selects suggested items for you across a whole category, and unlocks unlimited video compression and Live Photo conversion. Pro is available monthly, yearly, or as a one-time purchase.
Monthly and yearly plans renew automatically and are charged to your Apple Account. Cancel anytime in your Apple Account settings at least 24 hours before the period ends; you keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for.
WORTH KNOWING FIRST
• With iCloud Photos on, deleting on your iPhone also removes the photo from your iPad and Mac. The app reminds you first.
• Storage is only freed after you empty Recently Deleted in Photos.
• The app can't clear other apps' caches — iOS doesn't allow it.
• For look-alike photos, blurry shots and social videos, the app is making a guess. That's why they're never ticked for you.
