Shoot wide. Post tall. PrimoRec is a camera for creators. Record once in 16:9 and the app also gives you a 9:16 vertical video that keeps the person in frame, ready for Reels, TikTok and Shorts. Everything is processed on your iPhone, with no uploads and no account. ONE TAKE, TWO VIDEOS • The vertical makes itself: the app finds the person and moves a 9:16 frame along with them, smoothly. • Tap the ring on anyone to choose who to follow, even mid-take. • HD or 4K, from 24 to 120 fps, in HEVC or H.264, with the stabilization you choose. • A monitor-style viewfinder: lens, format, shutter, ISO, white balance, focus, level, grid, audio meter and space left. A BUILT-IN TELEPROMPTER • Your script sits right below the lens, at your pace or following your voice. • Countdown, adjustable speed and as many saved scripts as you like. A FULL CAMERA • Photos in HEIF or JPEG. A landscape photo also gets a 9:16 copy centred on the person, straight into Photos. • Vlog: double tap anywhere to switch between front and back without stopping the recording. • Slow motion at 120 or 240 fps, with the sound slowed down or off. • Timelapse with an Auto interval, exposure and focus held still so it doesn't flicker. REAL CONTROL • Shutter in fractions or degrees, ISO, white balance in kelvin and manual focus, each on its own dial, with haptic ticks. • Apple Log and 10-bit HDR, with a Rec.709 preview while you record. • ProRes, from Proxy to HQ, on iPhones that record ProRes. • Open Gate: the whole sensor, for a sharper vertical. • Live peaking, zebras and histogram. MORE • Dual: front and back cameras together on iPhones that can; drag the other camera's window and the finished video follows. Or record a reaction over one of your videos. • Follow any object: touch and hold a product, a pet or a ball. • Record straight to a USB-C SSD or thumb drive, and use external microphones, wired, USB or wireless. • The Camera Control and volume buttons take the shot, or the volume buttons zoom, as you prefer.
