Choose a 14–90 day sprint, set the study windows you control, and put selected distractions behind Apple’s Screen Time system shield while you work. BUILD A FINITE EXAM SPRINT • Choose a broad study domain without entering an exam provider, score, or sensitive history • Set an end date and recurring local study windows • Start a one-off focus session when you need one • Review local session history and reflections CHOOSE DISTRACTIONS PRIVATELY • Selection happens in Apple’s private system picker • The app stores Apple-provided opaque app and website tokens locally • The app cannot read selected app names, app content, messages, feeds, or browser history • Dynamic category shielding is not used; you review the individual choices CONTROL ALWAYS STAYS WITH YOU • Emergency Pause removes the app’s shield immediately and attempts a 15-minute resume • End Today’s Session remains available without payment, a quiz, a timer, or another person’s permission • Screen Time authorization is voluntary and revocable in Settings • The app fails open if permission is unavailable PLAN LOCALLY • Build a deterministic study plan on your device • Core planning works offline • The current release sends no planning request to an AI service • No account is required PRIVACY BY DEFAULT • Sprint, schedule, session, selection-token, and preference data stay in protected local storage • Optional coarse analytics are off by default and require both explicit consent and valid release configuration • Selected app tokens, study details, schedules, session records, exam information, free-form text, and device identifiers are excluded from telemetry • Delete all app-managed local data from the Privacy screen Block Your Phone to Study is an adult self-management tool—not parental control, school or employer monitoring, proctoring, treatment, emergency monitoring, or a guarantee of focus, study time, score, or exam results. Apple controls Screen Time authorization and system enforcement, and exact scheduling behavior may vary by device and operating-system conditions.
