Crows recognize human faces and remember them for years. Crowpal helps make sure they remember yours fondly.
Each day brings three small tasks, about ten minutes in all: something to do outside, a short lesson, and a quick look around. Over eight chapters and roughly two months, you go from stranger to familiar face to friend, at a pace the crows are comfortable with.
HOW IT WORKS
• Field quests based on published research: find your local crows, become predictable, pick a safe feeding spot, add a signal, and close the distance slowly.
• Short lessons with real photos: face recognition, tool use, food caching, crow families, and reading crow body language.
• A field journal: log sightings, take photos, and name the crows you learn to tell apart.
• 80 crow facts to collect, each with a source.
GENTLE BY DESIGN
• Streaks that forgive. Cozy Nests cover a missed day, and you can pause for travel or a day with no crows.
• Reminders at the time you pick. They go quiet once you're done, or while you're on a break.
• The Crow Code: no bread, no touching, no crowding nests. Friendship on the crows' terms.
YOUR DATA
Progress is saved on your device the moment you do anything, with automatic backups. Sign in with Apple to sync through your own iCloud. No ads, no tracking, no account to create.
A note on expectations: crows are wild animals. Some neighborhoods move fast, some slow. Crowpal can't promise gifts. It can promise you'll notice your neighbors a lot more.
