DropEat Driver is the app for people who deliver for DropEat in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
It is not a general-purpose app: you need a driver account arranged with DropEat before you can use it. If you would like to drive for DropEat, install the app, register, and upload your identity and driving documents — a DropEat administrator reviews them and activates the account.
WHAT THE APP DOES
• Go online when you start work, offline when you stop
• Receive the orders nearest to you — the system offers each order to the closest available driver
• See the restaurant, the pickup point and the customer's address on one map
• Follow turn-by-turn directions to the restaurant and then to the door
• Call the restaurant or the customer without leaving the order
• Mark each stage: collected, on the way, delivered
• Watch your earnings build up through the day, order by order
• See how much cash you are holding and request a settlement
• Get a notification the moment a new order is assigned to you
LOCATION WHILE YOU WORK
While you are online, the app shares your position with the customer and the restaurant of your current order, so they can see the delivery approaching. When you go offline, sharing stops. Your location is never shared with anyone who is not waiting for an order from you.
