AI Reader for Godot Docs is an independently developed, unofficial companion specifically for Godot documentation. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by the Godot project or the Godot Foundation. Read the public Godot documentation in 14 documentation languages with light or dark reading appearance. Documentation reading, settings, attribution and licenses are free to access, and you can open the source page in your browser at any time. The optional AI assistant uses the page you are reading or text you select as context. Ask about concepts, work through code, or add a screenshot. AI answers are generated by your chosen provider, are not official documentation, and may be inaccurate; verify them against the source. AI assistance requires a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase. It is not a subscription and does not charge for documentation access. You provide your own API key; provider usage charges are separate. Questions, page excerpts and any attached images go directly from your device to the provider you configure (such as DeepSeek, OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, or a local Ollama server), not through a developer-operated server. There is no complete bundled offline documentation set. Previously visited pages may remain in the system web cache, but offline access is not guaranteed.
