Apple TV
New in 1.3: the Sun, Earth and comets. Fly past Mount Everest and through the Grand Canyon, and see where every planet is right now.
Sit back and travel through the solar system. Low Orbit flies itself across 30 worlds, from the Sun and Earth to Saturn's rings, a comet and the distant ice of Pluto.
Every view is drawn live on your Apple TV from real images and maps made by spacecraft and satellites. Fly low over sunspots on the Sun, past Mount Everest and through the Grand Canyon. Cross the canyons of Mars, visit the Apollo landing sites on the Moon, circle Jupiter and Saturn, and continue out to Uranus, Neptune and their moons.
See where every planet is right now in a live, true-to-scale view of the solar system, take the Grand Tour from beyond Pluto to the Sun, retrace the journeys of Voyager 1 and 2, and watch famous comets as they appeared in the night sky.
Let the full tour run like a window on the solar system, or pick a world in Settings. Labels and short descriptions name the places you pass. Choose views of the real data alone, or enhanced scenes that add details such as haze and plumes. An optional ambient soundtrack, with music chosen for each world, accompanies the flight.
Use the Siri Remote to pause, skip between places and open Settings. Everything is included: the tour runs offline, with no account, ads or in-app purchases.

New worlds and new ways to explore the solar system:
• The Sun: fly low over the giant sunspots behind the great solar storm of May 2024, watch a solar flare erupt and a prominence rise from the Sun's edge, then follow a burst of the Sun's material all the way to Earth, where it lights up the northern lights.
• Earth: see our planet whole from space, then fly low past Mount Everest, through the Grand Canyon, over the Atacama Desert and across the Sahara's Richat Structure. Watch the Nile glow at night and find Point Nemo, the most remote place in the ocean.
• Comets: see Halley, Hale-Bopp and Tsuchinshan-ATLAS in the night sky as they looked from Earth, follow their paths around the Sun, and fly low over comet 67P.
• The whole solar system: a live, true-to-scale view of where every planet is right now, a Grand Tour from beyond Pluto to the Sun, and the journeys of Voyager 1 and 2 to where they are today.
• Cleaner labels on long flights, so the view stays uncluttered.
