Tony Crayfish Worm Measurer helps researchers measure worm (for example C. elegans) lengths in microscopy images on a Mac.
Work with a single image or a folder of images, or create a blinded session from multiple condition folders. The app can propose worm centerlines automatically or help you trace them from selected endpoints. Review and correct every trace before accepting a measurement. Calibrate the image scale to report lengths in micrometres.
Sessions are saved locally so you can stop and resume. Export accepted measurements to an Excel workbook, including blinded identifiers and review notes where applicable. The app supports TIFF, JPEG, and single-plane CZI snapshots. More complex CZI files should be exported as single-plane TIFF images first.
Automatic analysis offers proposals for human review. Inspect results carefully, especially for faint, crossed, curled, or partly cropped worms.

New AI models trained with additional annotated images. Choose between the latest model and two earlier generations in AI Model Manager. New single-key shortcuts: A to trace another worm and S to accept measurements.
