Lazy German gives you three German words a day. That is the whole app. The words come to you. Through the day they appear on your lock screen, a few times each, so you meet them while you wait for a train or make coffee. There is nothing to open and nothing to finish. A word you have seen comes back once, a few days later. Then it makes room for a new one. Swipe away anything you already know. WHAT IT DOESN'T DO No streaks. No points, badges or leaderboards. No daily goal you can fail, and no notification asking why you haven't come back. Skip a day and nothing is lost. ON YOUR HOME SCREEN AND YOUR WRIST Today's words sit in a widget on the home screen and on the lock screen, and the Apple Watch app shows them one at a time. Raise your wrist, read a word, put your arm down. That is the intended amount of effort. FOUR LEVELS Basics, Independent, Advanced, Proficient, A2 to C1.
