Every word starts with the last letter of the one before, and the clock is already running. Type fast, pick the right spelling, and dare a friend to beat your run. Pip, a corgi in a blue bandana, runs the course with you. THREE WAYS TO RUN THE COURSE - Classic: 60 seconds. Type any real word that starts with the linking letter. Points = letters. - Trail mix: long words buy time. 5–6 letters add 2 seconds, 7 or more add 4. End on the bonus letter for +10. Every run stops at 3 minutes. - Spell trail: four words, one spelled right. A right pick is +10, or +15 if you get it inside 3 seconds. A miss costs 5 seconds and shows you the right spelling. A FAIR DICTIONARY Wordpup uses a reviewed US English word list. Plurals and -ing forms count. When a word isn't accepted, the board tells you why: already used, wrong letter, too short, or not in our list. Think we got one wrong? Tap Report this word and send it to us for review. MISSES BECOME PRACTICE Every word you miss lands in Practice. It comes back after a gap, untimed and at your own pace. Get it right on the first try in 3 separate sessions and it's marked Remembered. After a run you can hear a word read aloud in US English or look up what it means. FOUR DAILIES, EVERY DAY Today's Classic, Trail mix and Spell trail boards are the same for everyone, plus a Daily mix: 30 seconds each of all three. Your first finished try counts. Replays don't count. DARE A FRIEND WITH ONE LINK Finish a run and tap Beat my run. Your friend gets the same starting word and rules. No account and no sign-up: if they don't have Wordpup, they can play the dare right in their web browser, then send one back. These are friendly dares, not verified scores, and there are no public ranks. PIP'S TRAIL Finished runs walk Pip along three courses: Backyard, Park Arena and County Fair, with a souvenir at the end of each. Pip also earns agility titles, from Novice to Open, Excellent and Master. Titles come from clean runs across modes, words you remember and dares played, not raw speed. Nothing resets if you miss a day. YOUR STATS See your last 7 days of runs, your spelling accuracy, your longest chain and your best score in each mode.
