Tacktab turns an iPad or iPhone into a wall panel. Pick one web page, such as a Home Assistant dashboard, a meeting room calendar, a check-in form or a sign, and Tacktab shows it full screen, all day.

The new satellite features require the updated Tacktab integration and Home Assistant Core 2026.10 or later. Basic Assist remains available without a realtime provider key. Provider processing, retention and charges follow the account you choose.

Privacy: Tacktab has no account, no ads and no tracking. Optional voice sends microphone audio only to the Home Assistant server you choose; that server's selected providers determine whether audio or text is processed locally, forwarded or retained. Tacktab sends no speech to Applifyer. Anonymous crash reports and product-usage counts are optional and can be turned off in settings.

Choose an optional offline clock for standby. Camera wake now uses person and movement detection with automatic recovery after interruptions. Touch and Home Assistant wake remain available. Clock and camera settings stay separate, and camera images are never recorded or uploaded. This update also preserves explicit sleep when detection restarts and improves display brightness restoration.
