Kept Catholic

Parish OCIA program tool

Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

The internal tool for the OCIA program at Sacred Heart Cathedral: your class, your small group, KeptUp and the parish calendar. The parish issues every account. Kept is the internal tool for the OCIA program at Sacred Heart Cathedral in Knoxville, Tennessee, the parish's program for adults preparing to enter the Catholic Church. It is used by the people in the program: candidates and catechumens, their sponsors, their catechists, and the parish staff who run it. Kept is not a public app. The parish issues every account, to someone enrolled in the program or serving it. In Kept, members of the program can: • Follow their OCIA class: each week's session, where it meets, and what comes next • Add their class dates to Apple Calendar or Google Calendar • See the parish calendar, feast days and the saint of the day • Talk with their small group and catechists in KeptUp, the program's private group chat • Share prayer intentions with their group • Upload the documents their sacraments require, such as a baptismal certificate Catechists use Kept to take attendance for their small group, follow the weekly curriculum, and keep in touch with the people they accompany. Interested in the OCIA program? Contact the parish office through the Support page.
