Clockwell: Hours Tracker & Pay
Clock In, Overtime, Timesheet
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Clockwell is a personal hours tracker for people paid by the hour. Clock in and out, take breaks, and see your hours, overtime and estimated pay, so you can check your paycheck and keep a clear record of your own time.
Clock in with one tap, from the Lock Screen or Control Center.
Start a shift in the app, from the Live Activity, or with Siri. Take a break with one tap and get a reminder when it is over. Forgot to clock in? Pick the real time.
Overtime done right: weekly 40, daily 8 and 12, seventh day, double time, with the math shown.
Choose the federal rule or a state preset (California, Alaska, Nevada, Colorado), each with its source, or build your own rule for a union contract. Tap Show the math on any day, week or pay period to see how every hour and dollar was counted, including the regular rate when you earn a night or weekend differential.
Multiple jobs, each with its own rate and rules.
Work at a warehouse in the morning and a cafe at night. Jobs for the same employer add up for weekly overtime; different employers stay separate. Raises start on the date you choose and never change past shifts.
Move your hours from your old app with a CSV or Excel file.
Clockwell reads the columns it finds, shows every row before anything is saved, and never imports the same shift twice. Importing is free.
Every edit is kept, so your record is clear.
Change a time and Clockwell keeps the original next to the new one. Deleted shifts can be restored.
Compare with your paycheck.
Type the hours and pay from your paycheck and see the difference right away.
Export and share.
CSV with week totals is free. Pro adds a PDF timesheet with an option to hide pay, marked edits and signature lines, ready to send to a manager.
Free: unlimited shifts for one job. Pro is a one-time purchase.
Free includes clock in and out, breaks, the Live Activity, reminders, federal overtime, weeks and pay periods, Show the math, paycheck compare, edit history, import, CSV export and backups. Clockwell Pro adds more jobs, state and custom overtime rules, shift differentials, PDF timesheets, iCloud sync on iPhone and iPad, the Lock Screen widget and Control Center button, a take-home estimate and a history chart. Pay once, no subscription. Family Sharing included.
No account. No ads. No subscription.
Your hours stay on your iPhone and in your own iCloud. Works fully offline.
Clockwell estimates hours and pay from what you enter. It is not payroll or legal advice. Overtime rules are summaries with sources; your employer or union agreement may differ.
