• Length or weight is enough: when you log a catch, the app estimates the other one from the species. What you type yourself is never overwritten, a different estimate only comes as a suggestion. • Tapping a text field selects all of its content, so you can type over it or delete it right away. • Text fields now start with a capital letter.

Improved translations and small fixes.

15 new languages: French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, Finnish, Croatian, Czech, Hungarian, Romanian and Turkish. Weather and forecast now also work outside Germany. Fish species with names in all languages, species lists for France, Italy, Spain, Portugal and the Balkans.

Fishinc now knows 285 species in five regions: Europe freshwater, Northern Europe sea, Mediterranean, and USA and Canada, freshwater and sea. Every species has a new drawing. In your profile under My lists and favourites, choose where you fish. The species selection then shows your fish, and search still finds them all, by English or regional names too. One species selection everywhere: when logging a catch, in trips, in the forecast and in the logbook filter. In the filter, a tap on a region selects every species you caught there, say all sea fish. Your own species get a drawing of their own. The keyboard only opens once you tap the search field. The same fish under two names are merged, such as Saibling and Seesaibling (Arctic char). The bite forecast shows each day in four parts. Tap a day to see which of your species suit it best and why. You choose which species it rates. New and optional: anonymous usage statistics that help improve Fishinc. They stay off until you agree and can be switched off in your profile at any time.

New on the home screen: a forecast for your location with the best time today and the best day of the coming days. A tap plans the trip for it right away. Catches, Biggest catch and Waters at the top of the home screen now lead to the logbook, your records and the map. When planning a trip, water and place now sit together. A new water is pointed out before it is added, so typos stand out. In the trip list, a long press on the flag tells you what it means. Find the best day explains what is missing without a place, and the keyboard no longer pops up by itself afterwards.
