Posso: Allergy Menu Scanner
Know what to order, any diet
Only for iPhone
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPhone. Not verified for macOS.
iPhone
Point your camera at a menu and Posso reads it for you: which dishes you can eat, which ones to ask the waiter about, and which to skip, with the reason for each.
Tell it once what matters to you:
• Allergies and intolerances: the 14 EU allergens plus nuts and fruits people often react to
• Diets: vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, lactose free, halal, kosher, no pork, no fish
• Dislikes: mushrooms, coriander, spicy, whatever you never want on your plate
AT THE RESTAURANT
• Photograph the menu, even several pages, or open a PDF or a link
• Menus in another language come back translated, with the original one tap away
• Dishes it can't judge from the menu are marked to ask, with what to ask
• Sauces and extras sit apart, so you never order a side as a meal
• Swipe a dish to add it to tonight's order and show it to the waiter
• The Wi-Fi written on the menu, joined with one tap
IN THE SHOP
• Scan a barcode or photograph the ingredient list of any product
YOUR WAY
• Four menu styles, from the classic list to a chalkboard
• Your history keeps every menu you read
• Works from the share sheet of Safari, Photos and Files
PRICING
Your first 3 menus and 3 labels are free, no sign up. Then Posso Pro: monthly, yearly with 7 days free, or once for life. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period; manage them in your Apple Account settings.
IMPORTANT
Posso is a helper, not medical advice. It reads what the menu says and can be wrong, and recipes change. With a serious allergy, always confirm with the staff before you order.
