Pitchline is a chromatic tuner and metronome for iPhone. The tuner is free and accurate, and it has no ads. Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription.
Play a string and Pitchline shows the note and how many cents you are off. Turn the peg until the needle sits in the green zone. That's it. You are never asked to pay before you can tune.
TUNER
- Chromatic tuner with a needle, note name and cents
- Guitar, 4-string bass and ukulele in standard tuning, with automatic string detection
- Pick a string and play its reference tone to tune by ear

METRONOME
- 20 to 300 BPM with tap tempo

- 2/4, 3/4, 4/4 and 6/8 with an accent on the downbeat
- Keeps playing when the screen is locked, and picks up again after a phone call

Pitchline Pro is $4.99, paid once. It adds:

While the metronome plays, it shows on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, and you can change the tempo or stop it from there. There's also a widget and a Control Center button.
The needle and the strobe move more smoothly, and it's easier to see when a string lands in tune.
The beat lights are bigger and numbered.
