CountryBar shows the country of your current internet connection right in your Mac’s menu bar. One glance at the flag tells you which country is associated with your public IP address.
Click the flag to see the country name and IP address, or refresh the information manually.

CountryBar runs without a separate window and stays out of your Dock. It’s handy when switching VPN connections or using different networks.
An internet connection is required to determine the country. The app contacts an external GeoIP service, which sees your connection’s public IP address. The country is determined using an IP address database and may differ from your physical location. CountryBar is not a VPN and does not modify your connection.
