• New Live delay setting in the player on live channels: start close to the broadcast, or a steady 10 to 30 seconds behind. • New Separate sources option in your profile’s Content settings keeps each source’s categories together under its own heading, in Manage library too. • New Ask each time option under Version in your profile’s Playback settings: Zaply asks which version to play when a film or episode has more than one. • New Hide separators switch in Clean up names ▸ Live TV: turn it off to keep rows like ##### FRANCE ##### in your channel list. • In the guide, a clock on a channel’s logo shows which channels have catch-up. • Live hockey shows the period beside the minute (P2 · 12') and basketball the quarter (Q3 · 7'), and games still being played are no longer shown as finished. • Other versions shows each copy’s source when your playlist has more than one source. • The search filter for programmes on air and coming up is now called Programmes. • Sports cards, search results, the Live list, Catch-up and the guide follow your device’s 12- or 24-hour clock. • When all your subscription’s connections are in use, a live channel keeps trying for a minute and names the household device using it. • Subscription in use no longer appears because of this device’s own stream, and Watch anyway no longer leaves a frozen picture. • On a one-connection subscription, films and episodes reconnect far less often. • Changing a source’s server, login or password now offers to update its TV guide too. • Channel logos no longer stay missing for a week after their server had a bad moment. • iPhone Duo: channels opened from For You no longer close as they start, and turning or unfolding no longer leaves a black screen. • iPhone: a match played from a team, driver or competition page keeps playing when you turn the phone. • 4K Dolby Vision remuxes from a Silo server now play. • On a Mac, closing Zaply’s window now stops playback, and a right-click on a Continue Watching card opens its menu. • Pressing an episode only another version has (Available in FHD) now plays it, instead of opening that version’s page. • Continue Watching keeps its NEW badge after Zaply restarts, and a revived show that starts again at season 1 has its new episodes noticed. • New-episode notifications now arrive after a reinstall or an iCloud restore: Zaply asks for permission to send them once you follow a series. • Some alerts and error messages that always showed in English are now translated. • Plenty of other bug fixes and stability improvements.

• A Sports tab now appears before Search when the tab bar has room, for example when Movies or Series are hidden. • Movie and series pages show the country of production after the year and status. • The player’s Stats tab now works with the Aether engine too, and adds a Dropped frames row. • Aether now has the Network buffer setting too, with a 0s choice that starts live channels sooner. • Fixed the app freezing on a blank screen and closing at every launch after updating to 1.0.5 when the library was large. • Very large playlists use much less memory while filling or refreshing, so the system no longer closes the app partway through. • Fixed a crash when switching playlist or profile. • Titles from a Silo server now play instead of failing with an error. • Plenty of other bug fixes and stability improvements.

• New Sport Center: star competitions, clubs and drivers to get a page of their events, with live and upcoming matches in the clubs’ colors, recent results and a “Don’t miss” row. For You shows them in a Sport Center rail, and a live match opens its match card. • New sources: shared folders on a NAS or a computer on your home network (SMB), and Emby servers through Emby Connect, by entering a code at emby.media/pin. • Each profile can now sync progress and watched titles with Plex, Jellyfin or Emby, plus the Plex watchlist, and Search also looks on your Jellyfin and Emby servers. • Film and series pages show IMDb, Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic scores next to TMDB’s. Change their look or hide them in Appearance ▸ Display ▸ Rating style. • Appearance ▸ Customize now covers Movies and Series too: each profile picks the top banner and which sections show. • New Send feedback in Settings ▸ Support: report a bug or an idea with screenshots and the app’s log, then follow it on Discord. • Subtitles: Auto-sync, under Timing, lines up a downloaded subtitle file with the voices, subtitle and audio timing change in small steps, and the menu searches each subtitle provider you’ve switched on. • Clean up names, in Everyone ▸ Preferences, lets you choose how films, series and channels are named: take out your own words, or show names and categories as your provider wrote them. • Infuse: films and episodes open under their real title, start where you left off, and your progress comes back to Continue Watching. • Next and previous channel now follow the list you started from, such as a match’s channels, search results or Recently added. On iPad or Mac, a keyboard’s arrow keys change channel. • The Resume button shows where playback will start, like “Resume · 1:23:00” or “Resume S1 E3 · 33:00”. • Dolby Atmos films play as Dolby Atmos on AirPods with spatial audio, and the sound no longer drifts out of sync when casting to a Chromecast. • Live channels that took about 16 seconds to start now open quickly, and a stream that slows to a trickle reconnects by itself instead of stalling. • The Next Episode prompt waits for the real end credits, and titles you remove from Continue Watching no longer come back after a sync with MDBList, Simkl or Trakt. • Large Jellyfin and Emby libraries sync much faster the first time, and posters from slow image servers no longer give up. • Plenty of other bug fixes and stability improvements.

It listens to the stream itself, not the room, so it works on live channels too. • Watch history: your profile page now lists what each profile watched, day by day.
