Foldmatter takes the page order out of saddle-stitch booklet printing. Open a finished PDF, choose US Letter or A4 paper, and inspect each sheet front and back before you export.
The app arranges pages in fold order, adds the blank pages needed to complete a signature, and fits your source pages to two-up landscape output with adjustable clearance at the center fold. A horizontal print-order strip shows the exact page pair for every side. Export the imposed PDF to a location you choose, then make a one-sheet printer test before a full run.
Foldmatter is for one saddle-stitch signature with portrait source pages. It does not edit the contents of your original pages, produce multi-signature books, or control your printer duplex settings. A local sample booklet lets you inspect the workflow before using your own file.
Everything runs on your Mac. There is no account, subscription, analytics, advertising, or network service in the app.
